DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, February 15\, 2020 - 7:00pm\n\n\n\n\n\nAdmission by Donation\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTheatre Artists for Social Action (TASA) presents "No Place Like Home: Myths\, Truths\, and Solutions about the Homeless Crisis in our Community".\n\nSat Feb 15 at the Lincoln Theatre at 7pm.\n\nWed Feb 19th at SVC Phil Tarro Theatre at 9am.\n\nAdmission by donation.\n\nThis play has been compiled from stories and interviews with local people who are currently homeless or have had an experience of homelessness. The genre is Reader's Theatre\, as well as Verbatim Theatre\, as an effort is made to stick as closely as possible to the words of the person telling their story.\n\nAt the Lincoln Theatre show\, there will be a silent auction of artwork from 6-7pm in the lobby. All proceeds will benefit the Skagit Valley College Foundation Second Chance Garth H. Arneson Memorial Scholarship for a homeless person to attend college. Following the Reader's Theatre presentation there will be a short panel discussion featuring experts in the field that offer practical guidelines and solutions.
