SUMMARY:Chamber Membership Luncheon - North Star – All Skagit Thriving
DESCRIPTION:Monica Negrila the Director of Strategic Initiatives\, Skagit County Commissioners' Office will fill you in on North Star's collaborative approach to tackling behavioral health and housing challenges in Skagit County. The goals are:\n\n\n	\n	Stable\, safe housing for everyone\n	\n	\n	Effective Community-Based System of Care\n	\n\n\nDo you wonder if community issues can actually be solved\, or do you think that they can only be managed? Do you believe that each community can tackle homelessness on their own? The North Star project believes that a collaborative approach can solve community issues and is committed to doing so.\n\n \n\nNorth Star is a community-wide effort tackling the toughest issues facing Skagit County. They're starting where the need is greatest: making sure our neighbors suffering the most get the effective care\, support\, and housing they need to get off the street\, on a path to recovery and into stable housing.\n\n \n\nIn July 2022\, Skagit County Commissioners and the Mayors of Anacortes\, Burlington\, Mount Vernon\, and Sedro-Woolley established North Star to solve community issues collaboratively. Since then\, the partnership has expanded to unite governments\, first responders\, housing and health providers\, and many other community leaders. Together\, we're pooling resources\, coordinating services\, and connecting fragmented systems to provide people with the care and support they need more efficiently and effectively.\n\n\n\nMount Vernon Chamber of Commerce Luncheons are designed to offer members both an informative experience along with the opportunity to network with fellow Chamber members.\n\n\n\nPlease join us at our monthly luncheon\n\nNon-member Membership Pricing Policy\n\nNon-members are allowed to visit up to two times at the standard member rate.\n\nAfter that\, a regular membership luncheon will be $50 per meeting\,\n\nA Biz-Buzz Networking Luncheon will be $100 per meeting.\n\nNo limit to the number of times one can attend at the non-member rate.
